Privacy Policy

Effective September 3, 2026. Relay connects your Mac to your own Android device, and what it reads from that device stays between the two.

What Relay stores

Your device pairings, app preferences and anything you copy or download through Relay stay on your Mac. Calls, messages, contacts, photos, files and notifications are read from the connected device to show them to you, and are not sent to us.

No data collection

Relay does not collect, store, transmit or share personal information, usage data, analytics, advertising identifiers or location information. The app does not require an account to connect a device.

Connections the app makes

Relay talks to the Android device you pair with it, over the USB cable or directly across your own network. That connection does not pass through our servers.

AI agents and your own key

The agent features are optional and stay off until you add your own provider API key. When you run a task, Relay sends that task and a list of the on-screen elements to the provider under your own account, where their privacy policy applies. Your key is stored on your Mac. No other device content is sent, and nothing goes to us.

Notifications

Notifications shown on your Mac are read from the connected device and posted locally by Relay. Their content is not sent to us.

No advertising or tracking

Relay contains no advertising, tracking technologies or third-party analytics. We do not sell or share user data.

Support emails

If you choose to email us for support, we receive the email address and information you voluntarily include in that message. It is used only to answer you and is not collected through the app.

Changes to this policy

If Relay’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before those changes take effect.
